How to Dialogue...
Hey und Hallo!
it's time for a new dev update. What happened this week? I've been looking for a solid way to implement dialogs in Crystals Of Irm for quite some time. The dialog system is next to the battle system, one of the pillars of the game, so it was important to me that I can quickly edit dialogs and if possible trigger internal game systems, directly from the dialog script. After testing with other tools and systems, I was actually at the point to develop my own system. But that would have taken a lot of time and would have distracted me from my main goal. Fortunately I remembered Yarn Spinner. Yarn Spinner is a tool to write dialogs and has the possibility to be integrated into Unity without any problems. YarnSpinner can also be extended quickly and effectively. After a few days of learning and customizing, Yarn is now running in the background of CrystalsOfIrm and helps me to tell you exciting stories.

With the integration of YarnSpinner another big part is finished and I can move on to the next construction sites. In any case we are one step closer to the demo in summer. I can't wait to show you CrystalsOfIrm.
